The black metal band Galibot, hailing from northern France, returns with a second album titled CATABASE, released via Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions. Once again, the band plunges the listener into the bowels of the earth: a dark, underground, and malevolent world.

 

Founded in 2023 by Thomas, Agathe, and Clément, the project was initially conceived as a studio project. It was envisioned as a parallel between black metal and coal, a raw, visceral, and oppressive material rooted in Wallers-Arenberg. After a first self-produced release (Euch’ Maunoir), the band became a quintet with the arrival of Julian and Robin, signed with Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions, and developed an intense stage presence across France and Europe.
