SICKMIND, formerly known as SILICIUM, evolves within a dark and dystopian Groove Death Metal universe, where humanity ultimately yields to machines. After releasing their first EP, Linked To The Machine, in 2008, the band returned in 2022 and reignited their live activity with a sold-out show opening for Aephanemer in Bordeaux in January 2023. In 2024, the band recorded a new EP, released in December on all platforms, and continued performing extensively. Since 2025, they have played across France, Spain, Portugal, and England, sharing the stage at shows and festivals with Eight Sins, Dagoba, Dygora, Gorod, and The Great Old Ones. Now performing under the name SICKMIND, the band is currently finalizing a new album, BABEL TOWER, scheduled for release in late 2026
