Kami No Ikari (meaning “wrath of the gods” in japanese) is a French metal band founded in 2020, in the early days of lockdown. Kami No Ikari is heavily influenced by bands such as Shadow of Intent, Fit For An Autopsy, Fleshgod Apocalypse and Lorna Shore, while adding a more melodic touch to the whole thing (this is why the band labels itself as a “melodic deathcore” band). The band's visual aesthetic gravitates toward traditional Japanese imagery.

 

 In April 2023, Kami No Ikari recorded « See You In Hell » , its first studio effort with producer HK (known for its work with bands such as Loudblast, Black Bomb A, Les Tambours Du Bronx or Sinsaenum).

 

The ten crushing tracks of this first studio album feature orchestral parts arranged by Francesco Ferrini from Fleshgod Apocalypse. In june 2024, Kami No Ikari announced their signing with german label Darktunes music group.

On the 4 th of october 2024, they finally released « See You In Hell ».

 

In January 2025, the band got to do its first European tour ever, joining forces with Ex Deo, Fleshgod Apocalypse and Dark Funeral. The band shows no signs of slowing down and is actively working on the next step of its evolution. Listen to the band’s album and experience the wrath of the gods...
