NO RETURN
BIOGRAPHY
No Return is a French melodic thrash/death metal band formed in 1989. They recorded their debut album, "Psychological Torment" (1990), in Germany with Coroner drummer Marky Marquis as artistic director, followed by their second album, "Contamination Rises" (1992), at Morrisound Studios in Tampa, Florida, with Tom Morris.
Since then, the band has continued to share their passion, performing alongside bands such as Arch Enemy, Testament, Samael, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Coroner, Motörhead, and many others, while also releasing albums regularly.
In March 2015, they released "Fearless Walk to Rise," produced by Jacob Hansen. This was followed by numerous tour dates, including a French tour culminating in a performance on the Hellfest Mainstage, and two European tours with Dew-Scented and Onslaught.
A significant milestone was reached in September 2025: the return of original singer Phil Ordon, who co-founded the band with Alain Clément over 30 years ago.
This return marks a significant moment for the band, particularly during shows where their early albums, still highly regarded, are featured. The band is currently working on their new studio EP (first single summer 2026, release October 2026).
